Because I’ve got nothing else right now, the onion rings I’ve learned to make:
onion (1)-cut and separate into rings
Batter:
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 egg (beaten)
splash of oil
some salt
“breading”
bread crumbs-I’ve made mine by tearing up some bread and putting it in the blender on max
paprika
Cut up the onion, mix up the batter, make the breading.
Dip an onion slice into the batter, dip the onion into the breading, place on plate, get about 5-6 rings on plate.
Put rings into deep fryer (375 for 2 minutes) While frying, repeat previous step.
After 2 minutes, remove and place on paper towel to drain, start the next group. Keep going until you think you’ve got enough.
